The Three Peaks Yacht Race
Sail up the wild West Coast and run to the summits of Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, the highest peaks of Wales, England & Scotland. A classic adventure race for teams of runners and sailors, since 1977.

This late, late entry is a familiar boat and has some familiar names to the race on board too.
The boat is Geoff West's Lighting Reflex (Reflex 38) with the familiar pairing of West and Gary Clayton on board as crew. The pair have entered many times before and won the race outright and numerous other trophies over the past 13 years of competition. They are joined this year by Paul Jackson as the 3rd crew member.
The runners are Alex Pilkington and Stuart Walker who were with them when they won a close race last year. This pair are both very experienced endurance runners and adventure racers and will have their experience from last year to build on. They just missed out on the King of the Mountains trophy in 2014, so will be aiming for that title this time around.
It's great to have the winning boat and most of the winning team from last year back to defend their title and they are looking forward to a close race against some fast boats.
