Tim has only done the three peaks once  and that was in 1985 – 38 years ago in a X99. He has dreamt of doing it again for ages and is very excited about the prospect of being on the start line at Barmouth on 10th June .

The boat

Machismo II is a sigma 38 which over the last five years has raced a lot ; 2 Fastnets , West Highland week , Kinsale week , numerous coastal and offshore races on the south coast and channel and last year Tim took the boat to the Mediterranean to do the Middle Sea Race

The team

O&o is made up of four members of the Olden family and Tim . They all sail out of Cowes and three of the family have raced with Tim extensively and one of the family as well as being an experienced sailor is also a marathon runner.
