The Three Peaks Yacht Race

IMPORTANT NEWS UPDATE MARCH 2026
There have been messages circulating about an event being planned for 2027. These messages have not come from Merioneth Yacht Club and there are no plans for us to run a race in the foreseeable future. The facts are that the race had been in decline for several years and had gone well beyond the point at which it was a viable event. The club has been actively seeking a way forward and while there are some options available to us we are not yet able to give any timetable for this to happen.
Merioneth Yacht Club is the spiritual and intellectual home of the Barmouth to Fort William Three Peaks Yacht Race but we are not responsible for any of the current messages, neither are we involved with or have any liability for the running of any event at this time.
The Three Peaks Yacht Race is one of the oldest and most remarkable multi-sport endurance races in the world. We think it's the most fun too! It draws competitors from all sporting backgrounds, with sailing experience from off-shore cruising to round-the-world races, sailing & sports clubs, schools, military & company teams.
