This will be Nick’s fifth attempt at the race. Nick was introduced to sailing through the race, including some fairly hairy moments. Now off-shore racing is first nature and have enjoyed several RORC campaigns and lots of in-shore racing.

Sixth attempt at 3PYR and yet another chance to win some silver. Planning to keep the mast attached to the yacht this year. I have completed a number of offshore sailing races and enjoy most outdoor sports, usually involving something with hills.

First time racing in the 3 Peaks Yacht Race. Dinghy sailor at heart with a small amount of yacht racing experience and recently found a new enjoyment in hill running. Jumped at the chance when asked if I wanted to do the race. The team think I’ll be able to eek some extra speed out the boat, let’s hope they are right!
Mark Wilsher – Crew/Runner
Occupation: Set Builder
Age: 53

3rd time lucky (2nd time round) yes, this is the 6th starting of this race for me. An interest in sailing led to a conversation about the race which led to some running which now takes up the main proportion of my spare time. Living in Cambridgeshire make offshore sailing difficult so as well as running, I keep bees and build scenery for a living.
Olivier Vidal – Crew/Runner

Three Peaks Virgin. A skiff, moth and sports boat sailor — no offshore experience, likely to push the boat hard.
