My father competed a few years ago alongside my uncle and I thought the three peaks seemed like a fantastic event. My cousin Toby and I are now lucky enough to follow their lead and Dad has agreed to help us get round the course.

The Dougie Dalzell Memorial Trust is a foundation set up in memory of a cousin of ours, who was killed fighting in Afghanistan a number of years ago. Its aim is to support the soldiers and their families who are injured or killed in the line of duty.

Robert Morris - Skipper

Occupation: Yacht Builder

Age: ??

Gender: Male

Nationality: British

I have been lucky enough to sail for most of my life and even enjoy most of it. I now reside in Southampton and work for Discovery Yachts, building bluewater cruising yachts. I'm looking forward to enjoying the Welsh and Scottish coastline and improving my night sailing. I object to running on principal, so it looks like Toby will have to be our backup runner.

Christopher (Tiffer) Morris - Crew

Occupation: Technical Director of a renewable energy Company

Age: 56

Gender: Male

Nationality: British

I took part in the race about 12 Years ago, I seem to remember enjoying it, undoubtedly one of the most challenging and enjoyable events I have taken part in. Strange how the mind papers over the bad bits! I do remember it being exhausting not sure how it will be now I’m 12 years older. I am looking forward to sailing with my Son, Nephew and two of their friends. I will not be running up any hills.

Toby Thomas - Crew

Occupation: Student (Biomedical Engineering)

I have been sailing all my life, beginning with optimists and RS Fevas and them moving on to racing 29ers.  Whenever I wasn't sailing, I would be rowing and ended up representing Wales and Great Britain.

Since then, I moved to London for university and have been transitioning into larger keel boats. Most recently I have been racing Farr 40s on the south coast and in Ireland
