The Kithros team are making their sixth entry into the Race and as usual will be a group of family and members of Topsham Sailing Club based on the River Exe in Devon. K2 will be the second entry from our Club which will be celebrating it’s 125th anniversary this year. Skipper bill ricketts will be mentored by his son Neal Ricketts who will be sailing his 9th Race and supported by Richard Stevens who is being introduced to the Race for the first time. Our runners will be Colin Ricketts, also on his 9th Race and still claiming to be totally unfit, partnered by Elliot Nash who like Richard will be entering his first Race. Elliott doesn’t normally go to sea and despite doing the odd marathon probably doesn’t really know what he has let himself in for! Our aim as always will be to finish, we will hope that we won’t be last in and above all will be there to enjoy the event. As in previous years our runners will be supported ashore by Bridget Ricketts who this year has talked her sister Shelagh Vale into sharing the support role.
