Race Rules
Notwithstanding these Rules and Race Instructions, it shall be the sole responsibility of each competitor to decide whether or not to start or continue to race. The safety of the yacht, its crew, and the entire management of the yacht, including insurance, shall be solely and inescapably the responsibility of the owner/competitor entering the event.
The establishment of these Rules and Instructions in no way limits or reduces the complete and unlimited responsibility of the owner/competitor.
The organizing committee and its race officers organize this race under these rules and instructions, but it shall not be responsible for any damage to, or loss of, property belonging to competitors, owners, their guests or visitors.
Nor will the Committee accept any responsibility or liability for personal injury or damage arising out of participation in this race, unless such damage or injury shall be occasioned by the neglect, default or negligence of any of them, the Committee, its Race Officers or its servants.
