The Three Peaks Yacht Race has, over the years, encouraged sailors to appreciate fell running, runners to appreciate sailing and for both to enjoy what is arguably some of the best sailing and hill running in the world. The race provides one of the greatest adventure challenges in British sport, well beyond those normally encountered in our modern well-insulated lives.
